My daughters and I decided to give this place a try, just thinking Santee got just another regular sushi restaurant in town. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! It’s a Japanese-Mexican fusion that works so well! We ordered the wasabi poke as an appetizer and it was delicious. We also went for a few special sushi rolls that were unique and creative. The fish tasted fresh and the sauces were flavorful. They also have more common sushi rolls but I definitely appreciate the unique, specialty ones they have to offer.

Saw this place had opened and decided to bring the family. We ordered California, Philadelphia, Tsunami, and Crunchy rolls. Rolls were good overall, rice was a little over-seasoned for my taste with vinegar or whatever they use so I felt that it took away from the overall taste. Came during happy hour which was a suprise to us and worked out well. We sat on a white cushion near the entrance which was quite dirty, especially for a place that had just opened. My beer was good and the prices were reasonable. Not sure if this place beats out the other local spots, but I’ll continue to come here to support a small business and see if they make any improvement's.

The best restaurant in Santee!!! Very good food (mix of Japanese with Mexican), great service and fun atmosphere.

The food was delicious; some of the rolls had this fusion taste, that was very flavourful.
I highly recommend you try the protein roll and the O.M.G.
